Radar, stations and other observations use their published observation times. Older or delayed data are marked as limited.

Forecasts

Forecast models are refreshed in cycles. The model update time and the time a forecast applies to are different.

Why some data may be unavailable

Some specialist data is available only in certain regions or from specific providers. StormAro shows it only when it is actually available.

Derived products

Combined products depend on the quality and freshness of their source data. Combining sources does not remove uncertainty.

Common questions

Why do forecast models disagree?

Different forecast models use different data, resolution and methods. StormAro shows where forecasts differ instead of presenting one model as always correct.

Why is a weather layer or specialist source unavailable?

A source may be outside coverage, unavailable for the selected time, delayed or temporarily disabled. StormAro shows that state instead of filling the gap with made-up data.

Are My StormAro alerts official warnings?

No. User alert thresholds are personal rules. Official warning products are shown separately in the Warnings Center and should be followed together with the issuing authority.

What happens to my selected location?

Your current location and display preferences are stored in this browser. Saved places and personalization can be synchronized across devices if you enable sync or sign in.

What is the difference between 2D and 3D?

2D and 3D show the same weather map in different views. 2D is the default view and 3D is optional.

StormAro combines observations, forecasts, radar, warnings, route weather and specialist tools in one platform. The weather map is available as a dedicated module.

Privacy controls

Current location and display preferences are stored in the browser. Workspace and account sync are optional. Browser notification permission is requested only after you enable it. Shared scene and route links do not include your private linking key.

Weather information can be delayed, incomplete or uncertain. Follow official authorities for warnings and regulated safety decisions. Route Weather is weather sampling, not turn-by-turn navigation. External provider licences and redistribution terms remain applicable.
