Only models currently published by the weather catalog are listed. A model run is forecast initialization metadata, not an observation timestamp.

Published radar metadata
StormAro shows provider attribution and licence metadata only when the live catalog publishes it. Missing licence metadata is not guessed.
Freshness
How freshness is interpreted
Radar, stations and other observations use product valid/snapshot times plus configured source freshness windows. Stale or stuck ingest remains visible as degraded.
Forecast model run IDs identify model initialization cycles. Forecast valid time and run age are different concepts and are not presented as the same timestamp.
Credentials-required, unknown and unavailable states stay explicit. StormAro does not substitute synthetic data simply to make a feed appear healthy.
Derived and composite products inherit the limitations and freshness of their inputs. Agreement or analysis products do not make source uncertainty disappear.

Common questions
Why do forecast models disagree?
They use different model systems, resolutions, initialization cycles and physical or AI methods. StormAro shows model provenance and agreement instead of pretending one model is always correct.
Why is a layer or specialist feed unavailable?
A feed may be outside coverage, not published for the selected time, stale, awaiting credentials or intentionally disabled. StormAro fails closed and labels the missing state.
Are My StormAro alerts official warnings?
No. User alert thresholds are personal rules. Official warning products are shown separately in the Warnings Center and should be followed together with the issuing authority.
What happens to my selected location?
The current location and presentation settings are stored in the browser. Saved places and personalization can participate in optional workspace/account synchronization when the active backend supports it.
What is the difference between 2D and 3D?
They are two renderers for the same weather-map product. 2D remains the stable default and 3D is opt-in unless a separate product decision changes that default.
StormAro Weather Intelligence
StormAro combines observations, forecast models, radar, warnings, route weather and specialist tools in one platform. The weather map remains a separate stable module at /app/.
Implemented privacy controls
Current location and presentation preferences are stored in the browser. Workspace and account synchronization are optional. Browser notification permission is requested only after opt-in. Shared scene and route links do not include the private workspace synchronization key.
Weather-use notes
Weather information can be delayed, incomplete or uncertain. Follow official authorities for warnings and regulated safety decisions. Route Weather is weather sampling, not turn-by-turn navigation. External provider licences and redistribution terms remain applicable.
